Color/Design/Process | Final - Ritual

The prompt for this final was “Ritual” so the first thing that came to mind was human sacrifices. The concept of the male gaze, or male fantasies, feels like an inherently ritualistic act. In this case, women are the sacrifices. Some of the women are in provocative poses, but others are in their place of work + studying + simply existing which makes the lens between fantasty and reality appeared warped. By actively viewing these pieces, you are violating these women.
